Known limitations
We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Some areas may not yet meet our target standards, and we are actively addressing these issues.
Standards we follow
HelpYard follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. Our implementation covers four core principles:
- Perceivable — Information and interface components are presented in ways that all users can perceive, including alternative text for images and sufficient color contrast.
- Operable — All interface components and navigation are operable via keyboard, with no time limits on interactions and clear focus indicators.
- Understandable — Information and operation of the interface are understandable, with consistent navigation, clear labels, and predictable behavior.
- Robust — Content is robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies like screen readers.
Languages and direction
HelpYard is available in English and Arabic. Arabic pages automatically switch to right-to-left (RTL) layout with the Cairo font optimized for Arabic readability. Language attributes and text direction are set at the document level so assistive technologies can correctly process content in both languages.
